Privacy

We are a student club, not a company. This page says exactly what this site stores about you, who can see it, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

Only what an account needs. When you sign up we store your email address and a password, and we record whether your access is pending, approved, or rejected, along with whether you are a member, an officer, or the owner. That is the whole record.

Your password is stored by our authentication provider as a hash, not as text. Nobody in the club can read it, us included.

We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. There is no third-party script on this site counting your visits. The only cookie we set is the one that keeps you signed in.

Who can see it

Club officers can see the full membership roster, which means every member's email address alongside their access and role. This is how officers approve new members, so there is no version of the roster that hides it. If you would rather officers not have your personal address, sign up with your university one.

Nothing on this site is sold, shared, or handed to anyone outside the club. We have no reason to and no way to profit from it.

Where it lives

The site runs on Vercel and its database and accounts are held by Supabase. Both are third-party providers, so your email address sits on their servers under their security practices rather than on a machine the club owns.

Our interest form is a Google Form. Anything you type into it goes to Google and to the club's Google account, not through this site, and Google's privacy terms cover it rather than this page.

How long we keep it

We keep your membership record for as long as the club uses this site. We do not delete accounts automatically when you graduate or stop coming, because nothing here tells us that you have.

If you want your account removed, ask an officer and we will delete it: both the membership record and the login itself.

Asking us about your data

To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, message an officer on our Discord, or ask one in person at a weekly meeting. The site sends no email and we publish no address, so those are the two ways to reach us.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it. It is kept in the same source control as the rest of the site, so its history is a matter of record rather than something we can quietly revise.
